FAQs

Q: What do I need to bring to get my computer fixed?

A: For desktops we need only the tower. We don't need the monitor, mouse, keyboard or wires. Laptops we need the power cord in addition to the computer. Any disks you have available especially Microsoft Windows and Office can be helpful but are not required.

Q: What are your hours?

A: We are open Mon-Fri 10am-7pm.
Saturday 10am-3pm.

Q: How long will it take to fix my computer?

A: On average service takes about a day, but we can't say for sure until we look at the computer.

Q: How much will it cost?

A: We charge a flat rate of $119 for drop off service. The only way that will increase is if a part needs to be replaced. If a part does need replaced we will call for approval before we move forward.
We charge $139 for onsite service, plus $70($90 for businesses) an hour after the 1st hour. If the work is easier and cheaper for us to do at our shop, we will suggest that.

Q: Do you offer home or office pick-up service for computers that need repair.

A: We charge a flat rate of $139 for pick up service. The only way that will increase is if a part needs to be replaced. If a part does need replaced we will call for approval before we move forward.

Q: Do you offer any warranty or guarantee on your services?

A: We guarantee you will be happy with our service or you do not have to pay.

Q: Should I just get a new computer?

A: Maybe. We are happy to take a look at your computer and if we feel it is not worth fixing we will help you find a new one.

Q: Will I lose my data?

A: No. We backup your computer before we do anything that could cause data loss. The only situation in which data could be lost is if your hard drive is bad when you drop off the computer. When you tell us what is wrong with the computer, we can tell you if there is any chance of data loss.

Q: What kind of problems do you handle?

A: A complete list of services and prices can be found here. If what you need is not listed, contact a PCR technician at 330.342.4728.
