About Us
After two years of web design, Pat Carroll - Owner & President of Pat's Computer Rescue - saw that his clients needed (and wanted) fast, convenient and affordable solutions for their computer problems. So in April of 2006, Pat decided to meet their demands by opening Pat's Computer Rescue in Hudson, Ohio.
Over the past decade, personal computers (PC’s) have become entrenched in our daily business and social lives. We have come to rely heavily upon them, making their consistent performance and reliability of the utmost importance. But as we are all aware, computers are complicated machines not always free of flaws. They often have problems and malfunctions, which if not fixed swiftly, could be devastating to our careers, pursuit of education and personal relationships. At Pat’s Computer Rescue, our goal is to get your computer up and running as quickly as possible and to inform you on ways to avoid future problems. We know that computers can cause you a great deal of stress and headaches, but with Pat’s Computer Rescue, your antidote is just a phone call away. We offer individuals and businesses a variety of convenient services devoted to helping you get back to what’s important – your life!

Pat is a University of Akron graduate with a BS in Industrial Management and a minor in Computer Information Systems. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, hiking, running and cross country skiing. He resides in Akron with his wife Amanda and daughter Madelyn.

Jon has over 10 years experience working in PC support and network administration for small businesses, universities and large corporations. John specializes in the execution and management of new projects for the business division of Pat’s Computer Rescue. Jon has a BS in technology from Kent State and an Associates Degree in Computer Service & Network Technology from the University of Akron. Jon is an avid runner and cross country skier and he resides in Akron.

Business Development Director
Amanda is the most recent addition to the PCR team. She focuses on the marketing of Pat’s Computer Rescue in order to grow the business. Amanda most recently worked as the sales and marketing manager for Ohio.com. She is a Kent State University graduate with a BS in Marketing and a minor in International Business. Amanda resides in Akron with her husband Pat and her daughter Madelyn.

Emmet has been a member of the Pat’s Computer Rescue team since June 2006. Emmet oversees the operations of all PCR retail locations. Emmet is a true master at fixing the most complicated computer problems. He will have your computer running like a Dreamboat in no time. Emmet graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with a degree in communications systems management. You can often find Emmet at his favorite watering hole, Rocknes or snowboarding on the mean slopes of Brandywine. Emmet resides in Akron with his cat Struggles.

Small Business Specialist
Shaun has been with PCR since the opening of our Hudson office in 2006. Shaun specializes in making technology easy for the customer. Shaun brings his own unique approach to problem solving. Shaun attended Archbishop Hoban high school and the University of Akron. Shaun resides in Stow with this Fiancé Katie.

Chris joined the PCR team in early 2008. Chris specializes in computer hardware repair and diagnostics. He graduated from Manchester High School in 2002. Chris enjoys staying active with sports and outdoor activities and resides in Manchester.

Ricky joined the Pat’s Computer Rescue team in 2008. Ricky is our resident MAC and PC expert. Ricky received a certification from Apple University and is able to service your Apple computer, also has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 2007. Ricky graduated from Stark State College of Technology in 2006 Ricky is an avid hobbyist that enjoys electronic gaming, volleyball, fishing, paintball, board games and just hanging out with friends. Ricky currently resides in Clinton.

Scott joined the Pat’s Computer Rescue team in May 2010. Scott is our resident NOD32 expert, fulfilling all of your antivirus needs. Scott graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a BA in Political Science and Economics and a Master’s of Public Administration degree from the University of Akron in 2010. Scott is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, enjoys golfing, reading and working out. He spends some of his spare time coaching a youth basketball team in Ellet named the Muskies. He currently resides in Akron, Ohio.
