"As we reflect on our search, which included Best Buy, CompUSA & Dell online, we felt your knowledge and guidance was superior, comprehensive & honest." -Sylvia McCauley

For the past few months I have been using Windows 7 and I have to say that I am extremely pleased with the overall look, compatibility, and performance of Microsoft's newest operating system.
Now through July 11, Windows XP and Vista users can pre-order the Windows 7 upgrade for half the price ($49 for Windows 7 Home Premium and $99 for Windows 7 Professional). And, all new computers purchased from last week through October 22 will get a free Windows 7 upgrade when the software is released in October.
From my personal experience I have found Windows 7 to be faster than XP or Vista (it has no trouble simultaneously downloading files while browsing the internet or launching applications), and the new interface, with realistic icons and killer graphics, give the desktop a cool and fresh look.
Furthermore, the Windows 7 operating system starts and shuts down very quickly; comes with an anti-spyware package pre-installed; and has a thumbnail overflow taskbar that allows you to organize and quickly find a file or application.
Overall, I think it is worth it to upgrade to Windows 7- especially with the price. Just don't forget that Microsoft is only offering this special until July 11, so don't wait too long if you're thinking about making the switch.
To coincide with Microsoft's pre-sale Pat's Computer Rescue will also offer, for a limited time, complete Windows 7 installs at a discounted rate of $99. Once your software arrives we'll set up your new operating system, instruct you on how it works, and make sure everything is working properly.
